Opportunity: Drilling Groundwater Monitoring Wells, Long Island

Description 

The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, New York Water Science Center has a requirement for the drilling and construction of 16-46 groundwater monitoring wells in designated locations on Long Island, New York. The work will include, but not be limited to the following: Well drilling, core sampling, logging, installation of casing and well screen, filter pack, grouting, and clean-up and site restoration. The Contractor will be required to utilize REVERT Organic Polymer Drilling Fluid Additive, as distributed by Johnson Screens, Inc., or equal, for all rotary drilling called for in the contract. The project magnitude is between $7.5-10 million. Proposals are being requested under Request for Proposals 140G0118R0041, which will be posted at Fedbizopps.gov and FedConnect.net on or about 07/20/2018. The offeror is responsible for monitoring the posting sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A statement of work, specifications, drawings, and other project information are not available for release at this time. No further information regarding the site visit is currently available; further details will be provided in the solicitation when it is issued. Proposals will be due on/about 08/21/2018 (exact date/time to be provided in the solicitation). The NAICS code is 237110 with a small business size standard of $36.5 mil.
