Boundary survey for the state of Louisiana The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), Southeast Region, in accordance with the Brooks Act and Part 36.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is seeking qualified firms to provide Professional Land Surveying Services, primarily rural surveys, in various areas of the state of: LOUISIANA Tasks include, but are not limited to, providing: geodetic spatial reference, records research, data collection, boundary marking, corner monumentation, and plat of survey, property description, and tract report. To be considered, the company must be authorized to practice in the respective state, and have a licensed PLS as the principal or an employee of the firm. Indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts will be awarded for designated areas of the respective state as shown on attached map. The number and magnitude of projects to be undertaken are dependent upon priority and availability of funds at the time task orders are issued. Fish and Wildlife Service will consider a firms experience for the past 10 years when evaluating their capabilities. The following factors will be evaluated and are listed in descending order of importance: 1) Professional qualifications and experience. 2) Specialized boundary surveying experience conducting: retracement surveys in rural areas, surveys relating to riparian ownership, surveys involving title conflict and encroachment resolution. 3) Geographic location in relation to National Wildlife Refuges located within each respective state and familiarity with the area. 4) Past performance (in terms of cost control, quality of work and relevant experience). 5) Field and office equipment (include instrument DIN, PPM rating; GPS receiver grade and system capability i.e. L1, L2, L3, GLONASS; type and versions of business office, surveying and mapping software). 6) Capacity / Durability of firm to accomplish the work within the required performance period. Firms responding to this notice shall submit a Standard Form 330 (SF 330), 2 examples of rural boundary survey plats meeting or exceeding the respective state¿s minimum survey standards, along with any information they deem to be of benefit to their company. Additional information shall be limited to four standard pages. Information in excess of this will not be considered. Firms shall submit three copies of the SF 330 directly to: Contracting and General Services Division, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 1875 Century Blvd. Suite 310, Atlanta, GA 30345, Attention Nijua Heard. The due date for receipt of submittals is June 13, 2018, 4:00 p.m., EST. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a request for SF 330 Architect Engineer Qualifications packages only. Any requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No material will be issue and no solicitation package or plan holder list will be issue. Inquiries directed to the Contracting Officer shall be in writing, phone requests will not be honored. Any A/E contractor considered for award must be register in the System for Award Management (SAM). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 541370, Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services and the business size standard is $15 million.
