Description 

The Social Security Administration, Region 9, is seeking a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, tools supplies, and materials for repair, sealcoating, crack sealing, asphalting, numbering and painting, both covered and uncovered parking spaces at the Frank Hagel Federal Building SSA, 1221 Nevin Avenue, Richmond, CA 94801-3123. In addition, all parking spaces within the underground parking lot require repair, repainting and numbering. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The estimated price is between $450,000.00 and $650,000.00. This is a 100% small business set aside. The applicable NAICS is 237310 with a size standard of $36.5 million. Information on a site visit is provided within the solicitation. The contractor will be required to furnish executed performance and payment bonds within ten days after contract award.

A site visit is scheduled for the work location at 10:00 a.m. local time (PT) on July 27, 2018. The address is: Social Security Administration Frank Hagel Federal Building 1221 Nevin Ave. Contra Costa County Richmond, CA 94801-3123 The purpose of this site visit is to allow potential offerors the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the worksite and satisfy themselves regarding the general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the requirement, to the extent that information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Questions regarding areas of uncertainty, which may require clarification or correction, must be requested during or immediately following the inspection tour. All questions and respective answers will be summarized in the form of a solicitation amendment and provided to all parties requesting copies of the solicitation. Offerors planning to attend the site visit must register by email to Ryan.Kloman@ssa.gov no later than July 26, 2018.
