Notice of Intent to Issue a Sole Source Contract PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) - Region 4, intends to issue a contract on a noncompetitive basis to Ramboll Engineering for Technical Oversight Support at the Velsicol/Hardeman County Landfill site in Toone, TN. This contract award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Ramboll Engineering is responsible for the technical studies and engineering designs for the remedial action to be completed at this site; no other source is available to meet the needs of the Environmental Protection Agency for this requirement. For more information concerning the basis of this award please see the attached justification for other than full and open competition (JOFOC). The procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 15 procedures. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. There are no known potential alternate sources that exist which could satisfy this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quote/proposal. Any interested party that believes it can meet this requirement described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill this requirement being requested by 12:00 PM EST on June 21, 2022. Responses must be submitted in writing to krieger.geoffrey@epa.gov no later than the time and date noted above. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
