Description 

RFI. TITLE: Personal Assistance Services (PAS). The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 2 requires Personal Assistance Services (PAS) for one (1) EPA Region 2 employee for purposes of providing Reasonable Accommodation PAS. These required services are in accordance with Section 501 of the Rehabilitation Act. The contractor shall provide PAS for individual(s) with targeted disabilities. Primary responsibility of the contractor is to help in performing activities. PAS are services that help individuals who, because of targeted disabilities, require assistance to perform basic activities that an individual would typically perform if he or she did not have a disability, and that is not otherwise required as a reasonable accommodation, such as assistance with removing and putting on clothing, eating, using the restroom and pushing a wheelchair. Primary location: New York City. A Personal Assistance Service (PAS) is provided as a reasonable accommodation to enable an employee to perform the essential functions of a job.
