NPS, Blue Ridge Parkway-REROOF VINTON QTRS B427 The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation the removal and replacement of approximately 2500-SF of asphalt shingles, the installation of a ridge vent along the length of the house, the removal of an unused chimney, the installation of sheathing to cover the voids created by the removal of the chimney, the removal and replacement of damaged rafters and associated sheathing, the installation of drip edges around perimeter of roof, and the removal and reinstallation of gutters on quarters B427 near mile post 112.2 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The building is a single story house with an asphalt shingle roof constructed over a built up roof system, the building will be occupied during this contract.
