This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-92 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. All interested parties shall be registered in the System for Award Management or SAM prior to award. Offers must be submitted by no later than July 26, 2017 by 10:00 AM Mountain Time. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811111. This Acquisition may result in a firm fixed price contract. The acquisition is in support of Yellowstone National Park and is for diagnosis and repair per the original manufacture Caterpillar procedures and instructions. A written inspection report with deficiencies for repair including dollar amount estimate shall be included. Inspection report must include part numbers, part number price and dollar amount for replacement. Known conditions are listed and require inspection. Current Blanket Purchase Agreements are established for this type of requirement but any interested vendors may provide an offer and will be evaluated. The Service Contract Act of 1965 Wage Determination Rates applies to this project. Yellowstone National Park Special Projects has 1985 Caterpillar D7G. VIN #3GF00228 92V 1301 that needs to be inspected serviced and repaired as per the original manufacture Caterpillar procedures and instructions. SCOPE OF WORK: ¿ Provide written inspection report with deficiencies for repair including dollar amount estimate. ¿ Inspection report must include part numbers, part number price and dollar amount for replacement. ¿ Complete Service all fluids and all filters. Clean all screens and grease all lubrication joints. KNOWN CONDITIONS: 1. Reduced engine power with crankcase blow by 2. Verify hydraulic pressures All repair parts must be replaced with Original Caterpillar Replacement Parts All repairs must be performed by an Authorized Caterpillar repair facility.
