Opportunity: Replace Four Garage Doors at Lassen Volcanic NP

REPLACE FOUR GARAGE DOORS, LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK, SHASTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. The National Park Service, Lassen Volcanic National Park, has a requirement for four (4) garage door replacements within the Manzanita Lake area of park. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to this solicitation. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 238290, with a corresponding size standard of $15 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall not be considered. Award is subject to the availability of funding at the time of award. The work of this contract will provide for removal and disposal of four existing, manually operated sectional overhead doors with approximate dimensions of 10 ft-2in wide x 10ft-4in high, the purchase and installation of replacement doors to consist of four insulated sectional overhead doors, similar in appearance to existing doors. Contractor shall make site visit to measure existing doors and ensure correct replacements. Doors shall be prefinished, smooth textured 24 gauge or better galvanized steel, with weather-tight joints between sections. Door finish shall be white and paintable to a custom color. Insulation shall be polystyrene with an R value of 7 or greater. Weather-stripping shall consist of a bottom compression seal, header seal, and jamb seals. Windows shall be 8 in x 24 in double pane insulated glass to be located similar to existing. Tracks shall be galvanized steel and compatible with wood framed jambs. Operation shall be manual, with torsion spring counter balance and galvanized steel lifting cables. Wind load rating shall be 20 pounds per square foot or greater.
