Opportunity: VALL ROAD MAINTENANCE

The National Park Service, Intermountain Region, Santa Fe Major Acquisition Buying Office, has a requirement to perform the placement grading, and compaction of 3" deep, ¾" minus Type II road base material, on 1.85 miles of the Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP)entrance road. In addition, this contract requires the TYPE II road base material be mixed with PINEBIND, a resign based liquid binder and dust control product purchased by the contractor from National Land Management Corp, (NLM) Chandler, AZ. In accordance with FAR 36.204(d) the Project Magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. One (1) firm-fixed price contract will be awarded on a best value basis. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed price construction contract is expected to be awarded to a prime contractor on or around the middle of August 2017. The Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
