Opportunity: EPOXY VAULT FLOORS

Description 

This is a competitive total small business set-aside acquisition limited to small business firms. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the solicitation. Solicitation P17PS01360 consists of construction services to be performed in multiple areas in Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation services and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The work includes, but is not limited to: refinishing concrete floors with epoxy floor covering with cove base on eight (8) single unit vault toilets, two (2) double unit vault toilets, and one (1) comfort station. The approximate size of a single unit vault is 42 square feet. The approximate size of a double unit vault is 82 square feet. The approximate size of a comfort station is 225 square feet. Contractor will be required to remove and reinstall any items that will need to be removed for proper floor installation. Vaults consist of concrete floors. All of the vault floors have prior epoxy flooring already and in some cases is cracked, has failed and has been chipped from the concrete. The floors will need prep work prior to new epoxy flooring. This project is set-aside for 100% for Small Businesses under NAICS Code: 238330, Flooring Contractors with a size standard $15M. U.S. Dept. of Labor, Construction Wage Rate General Decision Number: ME170024 shall apply. The order of magnitude for this project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The National Park Service, Northeast Region (NER), New England Major Acquisition Buying Office (NE-MABO), contemplates making an award to the responsible quoter whose quote is responsive to the terms of the RFQ and is most advantageous to the Government, considering price. The period of performance is detailed in the CLINs. Quoters must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management(SAM) http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications in SAM, in order to be eligible for award. An organized site visit is scheduled and details can be found in Section L, FAR 52.236-27, SITE VISIT.
