THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Bureau of Land Management, Contracting Office at the National Operations Center, Denver Colorado will award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source purchase order to Oxford Instruments America, Inc. Oxford Instruments America, Inc. will provide their technical expertise in preparing the Bureau of Land Management¿s Oxford EDS System to be moved from the current Wyoming National Minerals Testing Laboratory (Laboratory) located in Worland Wyoming to the new Laboratory located in Greybull Wyoming. The instrument will be moved, reinstalled and calibrate by Oxford Instruments America, Inc.at the new National Minerals Testing Laboratory location. This Notice of Intent is not a Request for Competitive Quotes. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made in accordance with and under the authority of FAR13.106-1(b)(1)(i)-only one source with exclusive licensing agreement. Oxford Instruments America, Inc is the manufacturer of the equipment and has the technical expertise needed per the warranty with Oxford Instruments America, Inc.
