SO STEPTOE, UNIT 4 WUI - HAND THINNING BLM ELY DISTRICT The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Nevada State Office has a requirement for a tree thinning treatment with a total possible acreage of 3,079 acres, as outlined in the statement of work and associated maps. Treatment methods will include manual lop & scatter, lop & scatter thinning, and optional firewood production as listed in the Bid Schedule and the Statement of Work. The project areas are located in the BLM Ely District, White Pine County, NV. See attached Statement of Work for complete specifications and Maps. Service Contract Act is applicable and the Department of Labor, Wage Determination is attached. NAICS: 115310 Size Standard: $19.0M, 100% Set-Aside for Total Small Business under the 115310 NAICS code for Support Activities for Forestry, Fuels Management Services. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. IN NO EVENT SHALL FAILURE TO INSPECT THE SITE CONSTITUTE GROUNDS FOR A CLAIM AFTER CONTRACT AWARD
