This is an announcement is a Special Notice/Intent to Award to RT Logic and directing interested parties to the FedConnect web page at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/ where details of a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Request for Quote (RFQ) G17PS00813 may be viewed. This Special Notice/RFQ constitutes the only solicitation. Firm, Fixed-priced quotes are being requested for RT Logic Avtec Support for the USGS/EROS requirement. Period of Performance is Date of Award -7/30/18. See the Statement of Work Detail as included with the attached RFQ. This Service is for the USGS/EROS, 47914 252nd St. Sioux Falls, SD 57198. The posted RFQ contains a description of the requirement, Instructions to Vendors, and applicable clauses. It is believed that RT Logic/Kratos is the only Service that can fulfill this requirement. The USGS/EROS LSDS Office (Land Satellite Data System Program requires this service. The demodulators are used for reception of Landsat satellite remote sensing data received at ground network stations operated by the USGS and other agencies. As an approved Sole Source Justification States: "The demodulators are a key component in the system for receiving and processing the data. As they are mission essential, a support contract is required to address any changes required, failures or problems that arise in operations. This procurement covers support and any technical adjustments and changes required for the five demodulators in use at the USGS/EROS and two units at Gilmore Creek, Alaska (GLC). Both hardware and software components as well as reprogramming will be covered by this contract." All vendors who believe they can fully meet this requirement, have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) and are registered in SAM.gov are invited to submit electronic quotes for this posted RFQ.
