Opportunity: GNSS SURVEY GRADE FOR SURVEYING

Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Earthquake Science Center, Menlo Park, CA has a requirement to purchase one (1) Survey grade GPS GNSS in accordance with specifications attached herein. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for commercial items supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; solicitation number G17PS00786 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in accordance with Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95, effective 19 Jan 2017. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, firm-fixed price type purchase order. All firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov, to be considered at award. Responses must be in writing, by email or fax to the Contract Specialist: jmdavis@usgs.gov or 916 278 9339 (fax) (DO NOT SEND VIA FEDCONNECT). This requirement is set aside small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing and the size standards in number of employees: 1250.
