Opportunity: 3D LASER SCANNER

Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Earthquake Science Center (ESC) intends to make a non-competitive award to Riegl USA, Orlando, FL., in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) to purchase 3D laser scanner for rapid 3D surveying. USGS currently operates an older Riegl VZ400 and require another scanner to increase capability and expand scientific research while maintaining existing infrastructure and workflows. This requirement is a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice and any resulting solicitation or purchase order conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 2005-95, dated 13 Jan. 2017. The NAICS code is 334513 ¿ Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring Displaying and Controlling Industrial Process Variables and the size standards in number of employees: 750.
