Description 

Amendment 000001 is issued to clarify the option pricing for the installation of equipment. Equipment shall be installed and fully functional 45 days after receipt of award. The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for commercial items prepared in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13 and is requesting quotes for the procurement of the design and provide an aquaculture system with 24 independently controlled water tanks. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number G17PS00730 to Beth Wilson at bwilson@usgs.gov. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Regulations and are attached. This solicitation is being issued as a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The associated NAICS code is 112519; Other Aquaculture. The Size Standard is $0.75 Million. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).
