Opportunity: Elevator Repairs

The U. S. Geological Survey, Leetown Science Center has a requirement for the removal of existing elevator components and replacement with new components. The Contractor shall remove and replace: controller, hydraulic pump, motor, tank, hydraulic lines, fittings, elevator cab, sling, guide rails, selector, hall fixtures, car operating panel, hydraulic jack and all wiring pertaining to the elevator. Project is located in Kearneysville, West Virginia 25430. The project shall be completed within 120 days after notice to proceed is issued. There are no option periods. The magnitude of construction is $100,000 to $130,000. Request for Quote (RFQ) G17PS00696 will be issued on or about 09/05/2017 with written quotes due on or about 09/15/2017. A site visit will be held. The date, time, and contact info for the site visit can be found in Section L.6 page 33 of Request for Quote (RFQ). CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. This acquisition is a total small business set-a-side. The NAICS code is 333921. The size standard is 1,000 employees. The anticipated award date of the contract is 09/22/2017. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be awarded the contract.
