Opportunity: CONF RM UPGRADES

The U.S. Geological is seeking potential sources for upgrade of A/V system (System Design and Engineering, Project Management and Coordination, Product Staging and Testing, On-site Product Installation, Low Voltage cabling as it relates to the Audio Visual system Testing and Commissioning by a field engineer, and closeout documentation: As ¿built drawing, Programming files, Equipment Lists with associated serial numbers), with successful test of new hardware, software, parts. In addition, a one year basic service plan in place for one year beginning the day after acceptance of upgraded system, to be delivered to the USGS Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center. Upgrades, and acceptable testing should be completed no later than September 30, 2017. Basic service plan should be in effect no later than 10/01/2017. All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to perform the requested service to the primary contact below. Firms responding should indicate whether their socioeconomic status (e.g. small business, service disabled veteran, woman/women owned, HUBZone, etc.). The Government¿s evaluation of the capabilities of respondents will factor into whether the forthcoming solicitation will be conducted using full and open competition or as a set-aside for small businesses or small business designation. This requirement is expected to result in the award of a firm-fixed price contract. The NAICS code is 238210. The size standard is $15 million. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in responses to this notice.
