Description 

LIBRARY PREPARATION AND SHOT-GUN METAGENOME SEQUENCING BY ENVIRONMENTAL DNA SAMPLES IAW PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT The United States Geological Survey, St. Petersburg Coral Microbial Ecology Laboratory requires a laboratory equipped to perform library preparation and shot-gun metagenome sequencing of environmental DNA samples on an Illumina HiSeq 4000 instrument using 8-lane flow cells (otherwise known as `High-output' mode). The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this Request for Quotes with a period of performance of 09/30/2017 thru 09/29/2018 plus 1 (one) option year. The services for this requirement are under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 541990; Size Standard: $15,000,000.00. This notice, the RFQ and any other information related to this procurement will be posted on, or about July 19, 2017. Amendment 00001 extends the due date for the quotes from July 24,2017 at 2:00pm ET to August 22, 2017 at 2:00pm ET. Amendment 00001 also dissolves the small business set aside. Please view Amendment 0001 for all the changes to the solicitation. All quotes must be submitted via email to jwalsh@usgs.gov. Quotes submitted through FEDConnect will not be accepted.
