The U.S. Geological Survey, National Minerals Information Center (NMIC) is seeking potential sources for providing three weekly publications concerning the mineral production industry in Russia and the other countries that formerly made up the Soviet Union (the former Soviet Union): 1) Russia & CIS Metals and Mining Weekly; 2) Russia & CIS Oil and Gas Weekly; 3) Russia and CIS Statistics Weekly for the period of 04/18/2017 through 04/17/2018 followed by four option years as follows: Option year 1: 04/18/2018 ¿ 04/17/2019 Option year 2: 04/18/2019 ¿ 04/17/2020 Option year 3: 04/18/2020 ¿ 04/17/2021 Option year 4: 04/18/2021 ¿ 04/17/2022 All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to perform the requested supply /service to the primary contact below. Firms responding should indicate whether their socioeconomic status (e.g. small business, service disabled veteran, woman/women owned, HUBZone, etc.). The Government¿s evaluation of the capabilities of respondents will factor into whether the forthcoming solicitation will be conducted using full and open competition or as a set-aside for small businesses or small business designation. This requirement is expected to result in the award of a firm-fixed price contract.
