Opportunity: REPLACE DOORS AND WINDOWS of MAINTENANCE BUILDING,

Description

The Purpose of Amendment #1 is to REMOVE in their entirety ITEM REQUIREMENTS 11, 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b, 13c, 13d, and 28 from the original SF-1442 of the SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT dated 09/02/2017. Clauses have also been amended to reflect these changes. QUESTIONS RECEIVED by potential OFFERORS are answered as follows: 1) Could you please confirm what type of Solicitation this is (IFB, RFP, RFQ, etc.) USFWS RESPONSE: This is a Request for Quote; 2) Usually when a bid bond is required I see wording from 52.228-1 included: The amount of the bid guarantee shall be ____ percent of the bid price or whichever is less. Should this FAR be included in the bid documents and that is the bid guarantee? USFWS RESPONSE: BID BOND is not required. Solicitation Amendment has removed these requirements in their entirety. 3) We were reviewing the solicitation and noticed that the project estimate is under $15,000 and that Offer Guarantee is requested. Please verify govt is requiring bid bond for this project. USFWS RESPONSE: BID BOND is not required. Solicitation Amendment has removed these requirements in their entirety.
