NOTICE OF THE INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO RMR Real Estate Services, West Region Posted Date: March 1, 2017 Procurement Office: The Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), 7110 West Jefferson Avenue, Suite 350, Lakewood, CO 80235 Response Due Date: March 6, 2017 by 10:00 AM EST NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS: Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) intends to award a sole source contract to RMR Real Estate Services to remove and replace six (6) corridor doors within building 7401. Contractor will dispose of old doors and replace with fire rated doors containing specified slot windows and matching finish to doors already in place. Existing hardware will be reused. Work will be performed during normal day business hours. Any newly installed door must be functional and security operational at the end of the business day. This acquisition is conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and in pursuant to FAR 6.3021-1 under the North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 238390. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the foregoing services may submit a response to this notice by 10:00 AM EST, March 6, 2017 to brendan_wentworth@ibc.doi.gov. Information furnished shall include detailed documentation to allow the government to perform a proper evaluation. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
