Opportunity: ASCENSION INSURANCE

Description 

The Bureau of Indian Education intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU) has been a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) for 18 years. HINU has carried insurance with Ascension Benefits & Insurance Solutions for this length of time. It is mandatory to carry catastrophic athletic injury insurance with Ascension Benefits & Insurance Solutions in order to be a member of NAIA. Haskell Indian Nations University must belong to NAIA in order to maintain an athletic program. The purpose of this procurement is to award based on a sole source requirement, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm¿s capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort.
