Asphalt Overlay Alta Vista Trail The purpose of this Amendment is to post the questions and answers received during the pre-bid site visit: Q(1): Are the grades listed in the specifications? A(1): grades can be determined from the drawings attached to the solicitation. Q(2): Will the same base compaction rates be used as was done for the Nisqually Vista trail project? A(2): No, compaction rates will be better, closer to 90-95%. Q(3): Where is the access point for equipment? A(3): Main trail from the lower Paradise Parking Lot. Q(4): Will a 8 1/2ft paver be OK if you want the trails 8ft? A(4): Yes Q(5): Do we need pilot car's for our equipment & trucks? A(5): No, the NPS will provide pilot escort vehicles for all asphalt trucks & pups.
