Description 

Purpose of Amendment 0002 : to correct Scope of Work to read: 8600 sf for asphalt, NOT 1000 SF. Completion date NTE 12/15/2018. The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation, Rehab Pinnacle Loop Trail, located at Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, 91 Bartlett Park Road Middlesboro, KY 40965. This requirement includes replacement of damaged plastic lumber handrails, the cleaning of the boardwalk, re-surfacing of asphalt trail, painting metal handrails, and the repair to a wood snake fencing. Please complete the following: Read the Specifications Document. Read through the Provisions and Clauses. Please note that this solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. Offers are not solicited from firms debarred, suspended, or proposed for debarment. Ineligible firms shall consider this an informational copy only. The NAICS code is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction; Asphalt paving (i.e., highway, road, street, public sidewalk) Size Standards in millions of dollars $36.5 OR NAICS code 238990 All other Specialty Trade Contractors: Size Standards in millions of dollars $15.0. This solicitation will result in a contract with a period of (90) days. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. Required Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to rehab Pinnacle Loop Trail. This acquisition consists of (1) Rehab of Trail. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order. Unit of issue per vehicle. Unit prices quoted shall be per vehicle and include transport. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD.
