RFP Solicitation released on 8 JUL 2020 Site Visit scheduled for 16 JUL 2020 @ 10:00 AM CT (RSVP) Proposal due date is 10 AUG 2020 @ 11:00 ET / 10:00 CT REPLACE FAILING FORT PICKENS WEST LIFT STATION PMIS NO. 226229 GULF ISLANDS NATIONAL SEASHORE, PENSACOLA BEACH, FL MAGNITUDE: Single, Firm-Fixed Price construction contract to replace failing Lift Station C and associated components; demolition of existing 30,000-gallon septic tank, odor control system, bioxide tank, and all interior plumbing and pumps and associated control panels. Project will also install fiberglass wet well and tie into existing incoming and outgoing 3" diameter force mains. The project will also replace existing chain link fence. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 Basis of Award: Lowest price technically acceptable offer This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal, prepared in accordance with PART 15 - CONTRACTING BY NEGOTIATION and PART 36 - CONSTRUCTION. Source selection process: LPTA lowest price technically acceptable. The NPS expects "Best Value" to result from selection of the technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated price. Section M contains the evaluation factors and significant subfactors that establish the requirements of acceptability. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors.
