Opportunity: Replace roof and gutters: New River Gorge National

The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Richmond National Historical Park, VA is issuing Request for Quote (RFQ) 140P4218Q0102, for the replacement roofs at New River Gorge National River with a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision for the following but not limited to: Project will remove and replace 3,400 square feet of single membrane ballasted roofing (sloping ¼ per ft.) and 6,800 square feet of standing seam metal roof (4:12 pitch) and trim. Will also remove and replace 445 linear feet of commercial 6 gutter and 148 linear feet of commercial downspout. Remove and place cap block sealant on 44 one half inch wide joints of 24 wide & 7 tall cap block & 91 one half inch wide joints on 16 wide & 7 tall cap block, and seal 3 windows attached to cap block at the New River Gorge National River Canyon Rim Visitor Center per the specifications of this solicitation. This project is being solicited as 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation, including all documents, will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM-System for Award Management-in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238160 Roofing Contractors. The magnitude for this project is between $25,000.00 and $150,000.00 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. There will be a site visit scheduled and perspective bidders are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing a proposal.
