Description 

The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Richmond National Historical Park, VA is issuing Request for Quote (RFQ) 140P4218Q0093, for the rehabilitation of the electrical system at the Sheldon House by means of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision for the following but not limited to: a. Removing all existing receptacles, lighting switches, lights, wiring and exposed raceway. b. Providing new devices similar to those removed in each device or light location. c. Rewire devices and lights in similar manner as existing utilizing existing concealed raceway, existing raceway or wiring routes and existing wall, floor and ceiling penetrations where possible. d. Provide new ceiling mounted lights matching existing in style unless noted otherwise. e. Remove certain existing lighting fixtures, safely store during construction and re-install after new wiring is installed. f. Feed existing exterior pendant light at front porch in an approved manner concealing wiring to the extent possible. per the specifications of this solicitation. This project is being solicited as 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation, including all documents, will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM-System for Award Management-in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238210 Electrical Contractors. The magnitude for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. There will be a site visit scheduled and perspective bidders are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing a proposal.
