140P3018R0018 Pre-Solicitation: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, National Capital Region, Western Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation for landscape maintenance services on or about March 20, 2018 under SOLICITATION NUMBER 140P3018R0018. Work will consist of (but not limited to) providing all labor, supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and incidentals necessary to perform mowing and other related landscape maintenance services. Specifications, and maps will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The Government's preference is to award to a HubZone designated company and will give preferential consideration for this socioeconomic category for award. The NAICS code is 561730. The small business standard is $7.5M. One (1) firm-fixed price contract will be awarded on a "best value" basis. SITE VISIT: Site Visit information will be in the posted solicitation. Prospective offerors are highly encouraged to verify the location and conditions and to contact the NPS technical representative for any clarifications. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor on April 19, 2018. Service Contract Act prevailing wages for Washington County, MD will apply. The Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance considered. The evaluation criteria will be conducted under a "Best Value" basis. The solicitation documents including specifications and drawings will be issued on or about March 20, 2018 and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities and FedConnect websites.
