Opportunity: Water Softener Replacement GOSP

Description 

Amendment 0001 is issued to 140P1418Q0115 for the following: 1) In response to questions from the site visit - the propress method will be acceptable. 2) Provide new strainer before water softener system. Check valve is not required. 3) Unistrut pipe clamps would be acceptable to hang an hold pipe. 4) Start the new piping at the shutoff valve after the hydro-pneumatic pressure tank. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor; providing the lowest price technically acceptable. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P1418Q0115. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-99-1 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. This requirement is set aside for total small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the small business size standard is $15M. This Acquisition may result in a firm fixed price contract. The acquisition is in support of Golden Spike National Historic Site. Due to the remote location of the project, a site visit is highly recommended prior to Offer. Site visit schedule for: August 1st , 2018 at 2PM.
