NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - WH&B HOLDING & TRAINING FACILITY In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Washington DC, intends to award a sole source contract to Northern Nevada Correctional Center (Nevada Department of Corrections). The contractor is uniquely qualified to provide a facility for the holding, sorting, training, training/preparing animals for adoption, and adoption of wild horses and burros removed from BLM Nevada public lands. The NNCC has extensive and proven experience providing these services for BLM Nevada and has a facility that meets the requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. No solicitation package will be available for this requirement. If you believe your company can meet the requirement listed above, please contact Kemi Ismael via email at kismael@blm.gov prior to 4pm EST on March 20, 2018. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
