Description 

VOICEOVER IP: This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Order to Montana State University (MSU), Bozeman, MT. The requirement is for Voice Over IP telephone and telecommunications services for the USGS Northern Rocky Mountain Science, Bozeman, MT, located in buildings owned and administered by MSU. To the knowledge of the USGS, MSU Bozeman is the only source capable of meeting all the described requirements below. Provider must provide services lines for a phone/voicemail system that is used for local, long distance and international call, analog lines for fax machines. Provider must provide service to make moves, adds and changes, to phone system including but not limited to phone moves, new extensions, reset passwords, provide headsets, system maintenance and upgrades. The purpose of this notice is to satisfy the requirements of FAR Subpart 5.2. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responsible parties may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. Responses are due no later than 02/21/2010 1300 EST. Response shall be submitted to Stewart Evans by email at sevans@usgs.gov. All responses shall be limited to 10 pages. No hard copies or submissions to FedConnect will be accepted.
