Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Western Region Branch of Regional Research, Menlo Park, CA has a requirement for services to develop database data sets and make code modifications to represent water operations of the Russian River to represent reservoir operations in Lake Mendocino and Lake Sonoma which includes surface water diversions, groundwater pumping, reservoir released and instream flow compliance requirements. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; solicitation number 140G0318Q0016 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in accordance with Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-96, effective 06 Nov. 2017. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, firm-fixed price type purchase order. All firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov, to be considered at award.
