Opportunity: FIBERGLASS TANKS

Amendment 0001 is issued to provide the answers and questions received: 1) Item 00010 As described, This is the only item that is NOT insulated. Is this correct? Yes, item 00010 is the only item that is not insulated. 2) Item 00030 Description on Page 5 "Specifications for 2, one piece fiberglass circular tanks". Was this a typo? The description appears to describe a horizontal tank. Item 00030 is a rectangular water bath. It is not a circular tank, so that was a typo on the sheet. 3) Color of tanks. Most tanks are requested in a light grey color. However items 7 & 8 ask for a light blue and item 3 asks for a mixture. An all tanks be the same color or do we need both colors? There may be additional costs for the gelcoat and changing pigment colors during construction. We do need both colors for the tanks. The use of these tanks requires that some of the tanks be a light blue color and some be a grey color. We would like to keep the requested colors with the tanks. 4) Are there drawing or pictures? No. This Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for varies sizes and quantities of Fiberglass Rectangular Water Baths and Fiberglass Circular Tanks in accordance with the attached solicitation. The solicitation number is 140G0218Q0035 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The policies contained in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in Part 13, as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. This a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 326199 - All Other Plastic Product Manufacturing.
