Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for the renovation/upgrade of a conference room, lunch room, and foyer located at the Leetown Science Center in Kearneysville, West Virginia. The period of performance is 90 days from the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed. There are no option periods. Request for Proposal (RFP) 140G0118R0034 will be issued on or about August 3, 2018 with written proposals due on or about October 31, 2018. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $400,000. All vendors submitting proposals will be required to provide a bid guarantee. The awardee will be required to provide performance and payment bonds. A site visit will be held, the information for which can be found in Section L of the RFP. CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. The NAICS code is 238220. The size standard is $36.5 million. This acquisition will be a service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) set-aside pursuant to FAR Part 19. The anticipated award date of the contract is October 10, 2018. A vendor must be registered at http://www.sam.gov to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
