Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement to charter a Research Vessel for seafloor mapping and high-resolution seismic reflection data acquisition operations - New Jersey shallow inner continental shelf In Accordance With The Performance Work Statement. The period of performance is 05/30/2018 thru 06/29/2018. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this Request for Quotes. The services for this requirement are under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 483113; Size Standard: 500 employees. This notice, the RFQ and any other information related to this procurement will be posted on, or about May 10, 2018. Amendment 0001 was release on 5/14/2018. Amendment 0001 extends the due date for quotes to 05/15/2018 at 10:00 AM ET. Additionally, Amendment 0001 deletes FAR clause 52.245-1, Government Property (JAN 2017). See the amendment for all the changes/updates. All quotes must be submitted via email to jwalsh@usgs.gov. Quotes submitted through FEDConnect will not be accepted. The anticipated date of award is on or about May 15, 2018. A vendor must be registered at http://www.sam.gov to be awarded the contract.
