Opportunity: SEISMIC SONOBUOYS

Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey, Woods Hole Coastal & Marine Science Center, based in Massachusetts, has a requirement for seventy two (72) expendable passive sonobuoys capable of recording and transmitting seismic data. NOTE: THIS RFQ IS IDENTICAL TO 140G0118Q0072 BUT IS DIRECTED TO ALL BUSINESS SIZES. Quotes shall provide pricing and specifications that conform to the characteristics described in Section B.2., Salient Characteristics. The requested delivery date is up to four (4) months from the date the Contractor receives the purchase order but no later than 06/30/2018. There are no options for this firm, fixed-price contract. Refer to Section E.3., Evaluation Factors. Quote submissions are due on or before 01/12/2018. The acquisition is full and open competition. The NAICS code is 334511. The anticipated award date of the contract is by 01/31/2018. Vendors must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ to be awarded the contract.
