Description 

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, intends to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures to Olin Corporation, East Alton, Illinois. This requirement is for new factory manufactured ammunition by Winchester for the Olin Corporation. This is for use by Special service agents for duty ammunition and qualifications with the Service pistols and rifles. Olin Corporation sends ammunition in sequential lot numbers ensuring a fast turnaround of identifying ammunition, if there is a recall on specific lot numbers. Olin Corporation can guarantee sequential lot numbers, which can reduce hours required to verify whether ammunition falls within a recalled lot. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 332992. The size standard is 1,250. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however firms with expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond by 02/05/2018. This notice is for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
