Description 

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, Bloomington, MN, intends to award a sole source services purchase order contract under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures to Lake Contracting, Inc. This requirement is for emergency services to repair an auxiliary spillway berm located at Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Marion, IL. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, quotes or expressions of interest (EOIs). No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice; however, any firm that believes they have capabilities to provide this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer at becky_clearwater@fws.gov. All comments received before 2 pm Central Daylight Time March 21, 2018 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
