Opportunity: OVERHEAD DOOR REPLACEMENT PROJECT

PROJECT TITLE: OVERHEAD DOOR REPLACEMENT PROJECT THIS AMENDMENT ADDS IN FAR CLAUSE 52.219-27, NOTICE OF SERVICE-DISABLE VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (NOV 2011) BY REFERENCE. DESCRIPTION: Contractor to provide all labor, materials and incidental costs associated with the removal and replacement of (2) overhead doors and (7) hollow metal doors including frames in Building #120 at Haskell Indian Nations University. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work, contract terms and conditions and the Construction Wage Rate Requirements. PROJECT LOCATION: Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU), Lawrence, KS 66046. DATES: Bid Opening is set for July 27, 2018 at 3:00pm. The Government anticipates the award to be made by August 1, 2018, with 60 days to complete all work after Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. The NTP will be issued after the background security clearance has been issued and after Bonding has been received. MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: As required under FAR Part 36.204, Project Magnitude is between $25,000 - $100,000 SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is being set aside for those contractors that are determined to be a service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern in accordance with 13 CFR Parts 125.8 through 125.13. Contractor must be a service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern at the time the offer is submitted and must represent to the contracting officer that it is a Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern; and a Small business concern under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to the procurement. NAICS CODE: For informational purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $36.5mil. Due to the issues with SAM, if you are not registered in SAM at the time of bid opening under this NAICS Code, your bid will not be considered. SITE VISIT: No formal site visit is scheduled, but contractor's are encouraged to visit the site to evaluate the existing installation to develop an accurate estimate for bidding.
