Opportunity: OPIS Data Purchase Renewal

Notice of Intent The Office of Energy Statistics (EI-20) in the Energy Information Administration (EIA) plans to award a sole source contract to Oil Price Information Service (OPIS), for a one year renewal subscription to OPIS intraday, EBIS newsletter and Station List Data file. The OPIS intraday alerts provides multiple daily updates to real time events in the U.S. refined products industry. The potential period of performance for this contract is October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017 In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information, which shall be considered by the requesting agency, within ten (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, no later than the closing date and time of this notice. Responses must be in writing, by e-mail to the Contract Specialist at Lolita.Neal@eia.gov. The e-mail shall contain the following subject line: Response to Notice of Intent – OPIS Data Purchase Renewal. Please submit all information no later than July 20, 2016, 12:00 pm Eastern Time.
