Opportunity: Bentek Data Purchase Renewal

Notice of Intent The Office of Energy Statistics (EI-20) in the Energy Information Administration (EIA) intends to award a sole source contract to Bentek Energy, LLC (a subsidiary of Platts which is a part of the parent company The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc.) to continue services and support by means other than the use of full and open competition. EIA also intends to award a sole source contract for a multi-year contract; Base Year plus two (2) year options for online subscription services to support EIA Programs. The potential period of performance for this contract is: Base: March 24, 2016 through March 23, 2017 Option Year 1: March 24, 2017 through March 23, 2018 Option Year 2: March 24, 2018 through March 23, 2019 In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information, which shall be considered by the requesting agency, within ten (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, no later than the closing date and time of this notice. Responses must be in writing, by e-mail to the Contract Specialist at Lolita.Neal@eia.gov.
