Opportunity: National Reservation Economic Summit

Description 

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Indian Energy intends to award a sole source contract to The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development. The DOE will provide a sponsorship payment for the National Reservation Economic Summit (RES) in March 2016. RES is structured as four days of business networking and informational training delivered through dozens of 90-minute sessions geared specifically for Native American entrepreneurs, Tribal enterprises, and organizations wishing to do business in Indian Country on local, national or international levels. The DOE is using exemption to competition 6.302-1(a)(2), One Responsible Source. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. If a firm believes the DOE should not pursue this sole source procurement with The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development, then they should submit a capability statement to Michael.Thomey@Hq.Doe.Gov by 4 pm. EST January 4, 2016. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
