Description 

The Stegall Substation Stage 07 Phase 01 Project (Equipment Replacements and Upgrades) replaces end of life equipment and installs a new control building. Replaced equipment shall include the 1960’s era control building, 30+ disconnect switches, problematic brown glass insulators, main bus reconductor and rating increase, 2-115kV oil circuit breakers, replace 1990’s vintage GE D20 RTU with three SEL RTACs, and add transfer bus dead end structure between 230kV east and west interconnect.

Directions: From Gering head south on 10th Street (Kimball Avenue) from M Street for 1.8 miles to Robidoux Road. Turn right and go 4 miles to County Road 17. Turn right and go 0.1 miles to Robidoux Road. Turn left and go 3.3 miles on Robidoux Road, turn right and continue 5 miles on Robadeuax Road to Stegall Road.
