Because you might have dozens or even hundreds of messages listed in your Message Center inbox, you have the ability to search for specific messages based on the column headings that display in the Message Center. These include:
Additionally, you can conduct two types of searches: basic, which enables you to search for messages based on one criterion, and advanced, which enables you to search for messages based on multiple criteria. Both of these methods are described in greater detail below.
Conducting a Basic Search
To conduct a basic search:

When you access the Message Center, the basic search options should display on the page. However, if the advanced search options display and you want to conduct a basic search, click Search Criteria. The basic search options display. |

If you selected From in the [Search Criterion] field, type the name of the person/agency who sent the message(s) you want to search for in the [Search Box] field. |

While the inbox is specifically mentioned above, this method works for the other parts of the Message Center as well: drafts, outbox, sent messages, and deleted messages. |
