Adding a New User

Vendor administrators have the ability to add new users to their company's profile.

To add a new user: 

  1. From the Message Center, click Company Profile on the toolbar. The Company Info page displays.
  2. Click the Users tab. The Users page displays.
  3. Click Add. The User Info page displays.
  4. On the User Info page:
  1. In the First name field, type the user's legal first name.
  2. In the Middle initial field, type the user's legal middle initial.
  3. In the Last name field, type the user's legal last name.
  4. In the Display name (First, Last) field, type the user's name as he or she wants it to display in the FedConnect® product and all FedConnect® product-related correspondence, beginning with his or her first name and ending with his or her last name.

Note

If you type the user's name in the First name and Last name fields, his or her default display name automatically displays in this field, but you can change it if you so choose.
  1. In the Display name (Last, First) field, type the user's name as he or she wants it to display in the FedConnect® product and all FedConnect® product-related correspondence, beginning with his or her last name and ending with his or her first name.

Note

If you type the user's name in the First name and Last name fields, his or her default display name automatically displays in this field, but you can change it if you so choose.
  1. In the Email field, type the user's email address that will be used for all FedConnect® product-related correspondence. This email address also acts as the user's FedConnect® product user ID.
  2. In the Title field, type the user's business title as it should display in the FedConnect® product and for all FedConnect® product-related correspondence.
  3. In the Office Phone field, type the user's office phone number.
  4. In the Extension field, type the user's office phone extension, if applicable.
  5. In the Cell Phone field, type the user's cell phone number.
  6. Click Return to User List to save your work and return to the Users page.
